Uniform Components
Looking to take the field with The Ohio 9? Below is a list of all the components you will need and instructions for modifying to make our 1860s base ball uniform.
- KBETHOS Cadet Army Cap
- Color: Navy Daily Cadet.
- NITAGUT Men Henley Neck Long Sleeve Daily Look Linen Shirt
- Color: Grey.
- These tend to run small so if you are between sizes, order a size up.
- Ohio 9 shield
- Provided by the team.
- Cost is $25.
- Dickies Men’s 874® Flex Work Pants
- Color: Dark Navy.
- You will need to cut these off just below the knee and sew a new cuff.
- Within the cuff, include a string for tightening the pants just below the knee. (You can use leftover pants material that was cut off for this.) You will also need to cut a hole on the outside edges of the hem to pull the string through.
- Falari Canvas Web Belt Metal Double D Ring Buckle (1 1/2″ Wide)
- Color: Navy.
- ICEYLI 17 mm No-Sew Nailess Removable Metal Jeans Buttons
- 6 needed for affixing the shield to the shirt.
- Some team members may have extra that you can have.
- When you have the shirt and the shield, lay the shirt out flat; place the shield in the correct spot on the shirt; and with the provided screwdriver, poke through the shield button holes and through the front of the shirt, marking where the buttons should be attached to the shirt. You can the screw the buttons to the shirt.
- FOOTPLUS Over Knee Baseball Socks
- Color: Grey.
- Recommend ordering two pairs
- Baseball cleats
- Color: Black.
- This includes coloring in logos / elements with a black marker if necessary.
- No metal spikes! This is a safety issue. You will not be allowed to play in metal-cleated shoes. No exceptions.
